Any use of this website is subject to the conditions and terms herein stated, whether for research or educational purposes or for the ordering of available products. When you visit or shop at themadhoney.net you are automatically agreeing to these conditions. Please make sure you take the time to carefully read all the terms and conditions.

Information provided by themadhoney.net whether it be by phone, message or email, including any links to or from this site, is regarded as purely for scientific and/or educational purposes and should never be interpreted as a diagnosis or recommendation for specific uses of our products. We do not accept responsibility or liability for the information that is provided herein. All intended use and application of our products are performed solely with the consumers awareness of all possible risks. We assume no responsibility for outcomes, positive or negative.

Age
You must be 18 years of age or older to place an order. We assume each completed order to be in compliance with this term.

Personal details
We require you fill out the correct information when placing an order. This includes your full name, email address, current shipping address and phone number where you can be reached should we have any questions regarding your order. Failure to comply may cause delay or return of your shipment. We assume no responsibility for delivery issues due to incorrect data.

Price Information
All prices listed on our website are in US Dollars marked as $ or usd and are net prices (excluding sales tax).

Order Confirmation
You will receive immediate confirmation by email upon ordering and within 48 hours after payment we will process your order.

Product Purpose
We make our products available for the sole intention of educating consumers to the ethnographic and botanical value and interest of said products. Our products are not intended for human or animal consumption or cosmetic use and we assume no responsibility for individual usage. We maintain stringent standards in identifying and sourcing the highest quality products from the purest sources, however we cannot guarantee the outcomes in regards to consumer usage. Nature based products vary, and we have no control over the eventual outcome. We do not assume any responsibility for results of experimentation and usage.

Our policy states that we do not expressly indicate, write about, nor talk about particular usage of our products.

SHIPPING & RETURNS

Worldwide Express Delivery

Themadhoney.net offers express delivery in most regions. Dispatch within 48 hours after the payment is received though it can be an additional 2-3 days during busy periods.
Delivery around 7 to 10 business days average (see below). 

DHL Express Shipping

Price calculated on the honey weight and excluding the packaging ; based on one (1) jar per parcel.
100g = 35$

150g = 35$

250g = 45$

500g = 65$

Due to restrictions we are currently unable to ship themadhoney.net products to Russia, Italy, New Zealand, Corea.

Delivery Time

Please refer to the map below for an estimation of the approximate shipping times. Schedules are based on delivery times to capital cities - please allow extra time for delivery to regional and remote areas. Delivery times are based on the date of dispatch - not the time of ordering.

If your items are in stock, we will deliver them to you as soon as we can. In the case of pre-orders, we will deliver the products to you as soon as they are in stock. However we cannot guarantee exact dates due to various customs and/or mail service delays that may occur and due to the fact that we ship worldwide.

 

COVID-19 notice on shipping and delivery

We continuously work hard to maintain our service offer and delivery times for you, but due to the current extended lockdown and restrictions, we may expect some delays in our delivery process and cannot guarantee any specific delivery dates at the moment. We kindly ask you to be patient if your parcel does not arrive at the specified time and to contact us directly to check about your order status. 

Packaging and Labeling

Themadhoney.net products are exclusively packed and shipped in a sealed plastic jar labelled “Himalayan Honey”.  Our products are packed with great care in our own facilities and placed in a double jar for maximum protection.

Customs, taxes and import regulations

Customs and import regulations vary widely between countries. Unfortunately, it's not possible for us to be aware of all of the regulations specific to any given country. Where we are aware of any particular import restrictions, we endeavour to make note of this on the product detail page.

 

It is the buyer’s responsibility to be informed and aware of the particular rules and regulations, as to the restrictions of food, natural or animal based products in his particular country. We cannot be held responsible for orders that are seized, returned or destroyed, due to customs regulations or illegalities. Ultimately it is the buyer’s responsibility to apply to import permits when required. We accept no liability for the refund/replacement of any goods or any costs relating to, or arising from, the importation or confiscation of any goods by your countries Customs Office or other government body.

 

Likewise any import duty or tax payable on your order is your responsibility and is beyond our control. If an order is returned to us by your countries import authorities in resalable condition, we'll refund you the value of the order less any postage costs incurred to us. We can't provide a refund until we've received the products back. We recommend you contact your local Customs Office for further information on import regulations in your country if you have any concerns prior to finalize your order.

Shipping Policy

We currently ship from Kathmandu, Nepal. In some other situations we can also ship from other countries like Europe. All our prices are in usd and exclude shipping. During the check out process you will be notified of the shipping fees, if applicable. We ship with DHL Express (tracking number) and themadhoney.net reserves the right to cancel an order if the courier agent cannot provide the delivery to your destination. If you require special shipping or any other options you must contact us by email prior to finalizing your payment. We can then review the options.

When ordering customers are responsible for entering their correct address. The Mad Honey Ltd. can’t be held responsible for incorrect addresses or any by the customer requested amendments made by themadhonet.net.

 

Return and Refund Policy

All sales are final, although we strive to find a mutually acceptable solution when issues arise. Returns and refunds are managed on a case-by-case basis, so depending on the circumstances they can take a variable amount of time to process.

We offer a 7 days money return policy on all orders. After receiving the shipment (signature date of waybill as a proof) the buyer has to contact us within 7 days. Refunds will be given as money back or replacement. The money back does not include any shipping cost and handling fees. 

 

As an example, for an order of 150g Mad Honey @ 119$ + shipping, the buyer will receive the total paid 154$ -35$ -17$ = 102 usd and for an order of 250g Mad Honey @ 189$ + shipping (when applicable), the buyer will receive the total paid 189$ -45$ -17$ = 127 usd. 

 

The return shipping costs will be integrally paid by the buyer (DHL return label to the address instructed by themadhoney.net)

 

To be eligible for a 7 days money back, it is mandatory that the item is returned in its original packaging and in its unopened condition in order to receive a refund. If the Honey has been consumed (partially or fully) the refund request is not eligible. If the products go bad whilst in transit and diminishing their value, in such cases, we will evaluate refunds on a case-by-case basis, but we cannot fully refund these returned orders. All refunds will be paid within 14 days after receiving the items back in our facilities in Nepal or the agreed delivery address. All shipping costs for returned orders are the responsibility of the buyer.

If you decide you want to cancel your order once it has been shipped, you may refuse it upon delivery. If you have already received your package, do NOT ship it back until we have communicated instructions as to if and how you may do so. In principal, all sales are final, although we strive to find a mutually acceptable solution when issues arise.

If the order is not returned to us, you will not be eligible for a refund or re-delivery.

Returned Orders
A fee will apply if, for any reason beyond our control, a shipment is returned to us and you would like it to be re-shipped.

Shipment Tracking
When your order is dispatched, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. This number will allow you to follow the shipping status of your order. Upon arrival a signature will be required. Tracking of your package with the required signature means your securely shipped goods will be delivered to the right person. It is your responsibility to track your package once it has been shipped. We cannot be held responsible for the courier process. All shipping part is out of our control and we cannot be held responsible for issues with your delivery.

Please note, we will not be able to amend a delivery address once the order has been placed.

All orders that are postmarked and leave our facility are no longer the responsibility of themadhoney.net. We have no control over items once they are in possession of the courier (DHL or any other post service). If you have issues with shipping after products have left our fulfillment center that issue needs to be addressed between the buyer and DHL (or any other post service) directly.

Damaged products

We take great care when we pack our products and in preparing the order for shipping so it arrives in top condition. However if the product has flowed or been damaged during the transportation and the client wants to return his order, it is mandatory to open and check the parcel in presence of the courier, fill a return form and give the parcel back to the courier. Then please send us your claim with a description / photos of the faulty jar. We'll need to receive the jar back to us unopened, unused and unconsumed, in the original packaging. If the Honey has been consumed (partially or fully) the refund request is not eligible. As per the buyer's convenience, we will be happy to offer a store credit, exchange or refund on this item purchased from themadhoney.net.

The buyer has to contact us within 7 days. Refunds will be given as money back or replacement. The refund does not include any shipping cost and handling fees that occurred to us. 

For reference only, below the amounts to be refunded, and might be adjusted to each specific claim depending on the real fees that will occur to us:

The Mad Honey 100g = 82$ (134$-35$-17$)

The Mad Honey 150g = 102$ (154$-35$-17$)

The Mad Honey 250g = 119$ (189$-45$-25$)

The Mad Honey 500g = 259$ (349$-65$-25$)

 

All shipping costs for returned orders are the responsibility of the buyer and will be integrally paid by the buyer (DHL return label).

 

All refunds will be paid within 14 days after receiving the items back in our facilities in Nepal or to the address instructed by themadhoney.net.

Disclaimer

We use reasonable care and skill to ensure the accuracy of the information we provide through the Online Shop and in all products purchased through the Online Shop. However, we do not accept liability for any errors/ omissions in our Shop and reserve the right to change information, prices, specifications and descriptions of listed goods, products and services at any time and without notice.

We shall have no liability to you for any delay in the delivery of products ordered or any other matters to the extent that the delay is due to any event outside our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of god, war, flood, fire, labor disputes, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil commotion, malicious damage, explosion, governmental actions and any other similar events.

We cannot be held responsible if you die, get locked up, hospitalized or go mad. We have no liability for death or personal injury resulting from the usage or consumption of themadhoney.net's products. Our maximum liability to you in relation to your use of the online shop is the amount paid by you for the item that is the subject of the claim.

Actual product packaging and materials may contain more and/or different information than that shown on our website. There is no guarantee regarding the effects or benefits of our products. We will not sell your contact details to marketing companies for spamming, but we may disclose information about you to business partners who help us provide the online shop services, such as shipping companies, Post offices, DHL or payment gateway, PayPal and other companies.
